TuVox Welcomes Industry Luminary Manish Sharma as Vice President of Solutions Delivery

CUPERTINO, Calif. – April 16, 2009 – TuVox, the caller experience company, has announced that Manish Sharma, Ph.D., a highly experienced speech industry luminary, has joined as the Senior Vice President of Solutions Delivery, to drive excellence in the creation of innovative solutions for TuVox customers.

Manish joins TuVox from Nortel Networks where he held various leadership roles in consulting and professional services, product planning, and global business development.  Prior to joining Nortel, he co-founded SpeakEZ, a start-up that was later acquired, and is now a part of Nuance.  Manish was voted as one of the “Top 10 leaders” by readers of Speech Technology Magazine.  Since 2007, he is also the Chairperson of the VoiceXML Forum’s Marketing and Communications Committee.

Manish Sharma holds several key patents related to speech technology.  His articles and papers are widely published and he is a sought-after speaker for industry events.  He holds Masters and Doctorate degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
