TuVox Appoints Larry Miller as President and CEO

Customer Service and Enterprise Software veteran returns to Contact Center software marketplace

LOS ALTOS, Calif. — July 28, 2003 — TuVox, the pioneer in Conversational Voice Response (CVR™) applications for call centers announced today the appointment of Larry Miller as the company's new President and CEO.

Miller brings over 25 years of call center and enterprise software experience to TuVox. Prior to joining TuVox, Miller was President and COO of WorldChain, a leading supply chain software company he co-founded in 1999. While at WorldChain, Miller led the launch of the company, established a customer base of highly referenceable customers, including multiple Fortune 500 companies and raised a total of $62 million in three rounds of financing from leading venture capital firms.

Previously, Miller spent four years with Aspect Telecommunications, a pioneer in delivering mission critical call center solutions to large contact centers, and was with IBM Corporation for 17 years. During his tenure at Aspect, Miller served as Vice President, North American Sales and Support where he was responsible for more than doubling North American revenues from $145 million to $320 million. While at IBM, he held a number of senior management positions within IBM's world-class customer service organization, including Customer Service Executive and Business Unit Executive for Availability Services.

With Miller's appointment, co-founder and Board member Steven Pollock will assume the role of Executive Vice President, Product Strategy and Development. "Larry's joining is a strong testament to the accomplishments, market position and market opportunity of the company", said Pollock.
