TuVox Announces Strengthening Of Its Hosted Speech Application Offering

Company Introduces Hosting Capabilities for Europe and APAC as Well as Investment in New On Demand Product Offering

CUPERTINO, Calif. – May 23, 2006 – TuVox, a leading provider of On Demand speech applications, today announced it is strengthening its hosted speech application offering by expanding its speech application hosting capabilities beyond North America into Europe and APAC. The company is also making significant financial investments in new On Demand product offerings. Over the past few months TuVox has acquired a number of new customers who have selected its hosted speech applications, such as: Action Performance, Del Monte, Gateway and U.S. Tennis Association.

TuVox has partnered with key companies, including Tellme Networks, Inc. to add their network services as an option for TuVox On Demand applications. Now TuVox customers can choose to deploy their speech applications on Tellme's platform, which handles millions of callers every day with billions of calls to the network every year. This option provides TuVox customers access to the largest VoiceXML network in the world.

The new On Demand product offering will provide an integrated customer support center and a Web Portal, enabling TuVox customers to manage, update and change key aspects of the caller experience.

TuVox On Demand includes enterprise-level mission critical hosting facilities provided by TuVox and partners such as Tellme and Convergys Corporation delivering multiple levels of redundancy, as well as 24x7 application monitoring and support. TuVox hosting offers virtual call center functionality in partnership with Genesys, including intelligent routing across multiple call centers and agent screen-pop.

TuVox On Demand also provides industry-leading deployment flexibility through the "Speech Investment Protection Plan". This plan provides guarantees to protect against technology obsolescence and enables customers to retain a license to their speech application regardless of changes to underlying platform technology components. TuVox's unique pure VXML architecture allows applications to be deployed without requiring a TuVox server runtime component, delivering the maximum level of portability and risk mitigation.
