BECU Selects TuVox to Deliver World Class Voice Self-Service

CUPERTINO, Calif. – November 6, 2007 – TuVox, a leading provider of On Demand speech applications, today announced that BECU, (formally known as Boeing Employees' Credit Union), Washington State’s largest credit union and one of the top 5 financial cooperatives in the country, has selected the TuVox Financial Service Application Suite to provide BECU members with a more efficient and personalized customer service experience. With over 520,000 members and more than $7.5 billion in assets, BECU intends to benefit from TuVox's extensive knowledge in creating sophisticated voice self-service solutions to the credit union segment of the financial services industry.

BECU is currently engaged in a thorough redesign and restructuring of its telephony infrastructure, with the telephone banking channel playing a critical role in the way BECU interacts with its members.  The project will include a redesign of several legacy touch-tone applications that service checking and savings accounts, credit cards, loans and other services.  In addition to the Loan Choice speech solution being re-implemented as a TuVox-powered Natural Language Speech application, BECU will introduce a brand new Branch and ATM Locator application.

To optimize usability and overall caller experience, a TuVox Perfect Router call routing application will navigate callers to the desired destination using a natural language ‘how can I help you’ style interface. This will dramatically simplify the user interaction, and allow callers to more quickly get what they want.
